This blog started as a travel/lifestyle blog dedicated to New England prior to a hopeful move to warmer climates, morphed into a travel/diner blog exploring New England area diners, and now serves as a celebration of typical New England food found in an Irish Catholic Connecticut home in the 70’s, highlighting the good, the bad (and sometimes the ugly) recipes from my mom, who I lost in 2018! But mostly we celebrate the desserts!
Today we met the cousins in Connecticut to see the Gillette Castle. We started with a steamy hike (95 degrees), and finished with a tour of the castle. The history in the area is rich and the view spectacular!
