This post isn’t so much about an actual destination but about finding your Halloween wherever you are. As someone who has hated this holiday for years (clowns jumping out aren’t really festive, if you ask me), I do enjoy a controlled party!

This blog started as a travel/lifestyle blog dedicated to New England prior to a hopeful move to warmer climates, morphed into a travel/diner blog exploring New England area diners, and now serves as a celebration of typical New England food found in an Irish Catholic Connecticut home in the 70’s, highlighting the good, the bad (and sometimes the ugly) recipes from my mom, who I lost in 2018! But mostly we celebrate the desserts!
