This blog started as a travel/lifestyle blog dedicated to New England prior to a hopeful move to warmer climates, morphed into a travel/diner blog exploring New England area diners, and now serves as a celebration of typical New England food found in an Irish Catholic Connecticut home in the 70’s, highlighting the good, the bad (and sometimes the ugly) recipes from my mom, who I lost in 2018! But mostly we celebrate the desserts!
This week we are heading out of town for the holidays. This will allow for some sights that are not local to New England, but rather the warm south!! Here are a few photos from our trip down, from Jersey City/NYC and Wilmington, North Carolina!!
